Our story
A family shop on Kabul's most storied street.
Istalif Art Gallery began in the pottery village of Istalif, north of Kabul, where generations of families have shaped clay, wood and wool into objects of extraordinary beauty. What started as a single stall of rescued antiques by Mr. Abdul Ahmad Istalifi has grown into a curated house of Afghan craft, trusted by collectors from Kabul to New York.
